Obituary of Willard Lance
The Lance family regrets to announce the death of Willard, in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on November 27, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Sparling. Loving father of Randy (Nicole Lafleur) and Rhonda (Keith Trudeau). Proud grandfather of 2 grandsons; Graham Davis (Eric Beauchamp) and Kyle Lance (Samantha Zacharias) and 2 step grandchildren; Jenny Trudeau (Mark Tosh) and Jason Trudeau (Kristy Elliott) and blessed with 2 great grandsons; Johnny Rivet Davis and Braiden Lance and great granddaughter Macy Millie Lance. Predeceased by his parents, Armas Lance and Alma Cartier. Survived by sister Pearl (George Archambeault) and brother, Keith (Joan Kearns) and predeceased by sisters Cheriva Lance, Erma (late Mervin Rebertz) and Myrtle (Lennis Bretzlaff). Dear brother-in-law of Meryle (Hilliard Rebertz), Erma (late Bill Hill), Joyce (Hubert Beaudoin), Lynn (Lloyd Kluke), Norma Sparling (Claude Bertrand) and Bobby Sparling (Joanne) and predeceased by Warren (Florence), Wilson (Anita) and Mae. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call at the W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral Saturday, December 2 to St. James Anglican Church, Otter Lake, Quebec for Service at 1 p.m. Interment Parish Cemetery. Donations to St. James Anglican Cemetery would be appreciated.
