Wilhelmina “Toos” Van der Waal
1921 – 2017
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Wilhelmina “Toos” Van der Waal at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan on June 21, 2017 at the age of 95 years.
Wilhelmina was a devoted mother to Ali, Anita (Ahmid) and Arie; grandmother to Nathan, Jonathan (Jonina), Calvin (Robyn), Natalie, “AJ” Arie Jordan, “AJ” Omer, Arjen and Ariel; great grandmother to Christopher, Arieawna, Sydney, Brayden, Owen, Noah and Tate.
Wilhelima was predeceased by her husband, Arie; her parents; siblings, Dirk, Izak, Mina, Marie and son in law, Wayne Hammett.
The funeral service will be held on June 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Knox United Church, Redvers, SK with Student Pastor Marja Hordern and Rev. Michelle Moore officiating. Lunch will be held in the church social hall immediately following the service. The interment will take place at the Fertile Cemetery.
