Passed away peacefully at Iler Lodge on November 21st, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Rachael Hahn for 63 wonderful years. Cherished father of Kymm Loch (Jeff) of South Lyons, MI. Treasured Papa to Ian (Rachel) Loch of Brighton,MI; Lizbeth (Scott) Brenneman of Grand Rapids, MI; and Adam Loch of Denver, CO. Loving great-grandfather of Piper and Oliver. Dearest brother of the late Bob (2006)(Aline). Dear brother-in-law of Norma Pauwels. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, including Cathy Williams (Andy). He will be missed by good friends, Pat and Norm Griffin.
Fred was born in Blind River and lived many years in Windsor on Sandwich Street. Fred worked for CTX, Nordair, Air France and as Cruise Director on The French Lines.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Iler Lodge for the loving care they provided to Fred.
If you so desire, donations to St. John’s Anglican Church—Altar Guild or the Downtown Mission would be appreciated by the family.
Cremation services were held.
On Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 family and friends are invited to meet after 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church in Sandwich Town, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place at St. John’s Cemetery at a later date.
