GAGNON, Wilfred
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Leamington Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (2006). Loving father of Carol McCurdy (Sheldon), Roland (Valerie), Nelson (Sandy) and the late Dennis (Kellie). Proud Pepe of Kelly, Karen, Shawn, Jamie, Brian, Jaime, Dennis Jr., Randi and 2 great grandchildren. Dearest brother of Phil (Jean) Gagnon, Rose Marie (Richard) McCallum, Janet Gignac, Marcel (Mary) Gagnon and predeceased by Oscar Gagnon, Marie Brockman and Theresa Ethier. Survived by sisters-in-law Geraldine (Rick) and Jacqueline Gagnon. Will also be remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Residence in Leamington and Royal Oak for the care given to Wilfred. Wilfred retired from Chrysler in 1979 after 30 years of service. He and Kathleen, also owned and operated Wheel Inn Restaurant in Kingsville for many years. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Ave. E, Essex (519-776-4233) on Friday 2-5 and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at St. Clement Church, 9567 Walker Road, McGregor from 10:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Fr. Ray Masse officiating. Parish Prayers Friday 7:00 pm. Interment St. Clements Cemetery, McGregor. Family and friends are invited to share their memories online at www.reidfuneralhome.ca
