Passed away peacefully at Innisfree House,
Kitchener on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Edith Seelisch (nee Herrmann) of
Goderich. Loved father of Ralph Seelisch (Heather) of St.
Thomas, Sonya Hennige (Rick) of Elmira, Bianca Wildfong (Mike) of
Guelph, Sabrina Windatt (Jeff) of Elmira and Andreas Seelisch
(Jennifer) of Etobicoke. Proud “Opa” of
Liam, Michelle, Ashley, Alexis, Olivia, Madeline, Preston, Julia,
Joanna, Andrea and Colin and great grandchildren Jaxon, Portia,
Vienna, Ophelia, Elijah and Wyatt. Fondly remembered by
brother in-law Dieter Herrmann (Marlene). Werner was the
dear uncle of Heidrun, Frank, Ute and Barbara and a friend to
many. Predeceased by his brother Horst (Inge). He
was a retired minister and missionary with the New Apolstolic
Church. As a missionary, he travelled extensively to
missions in Africa and The Phillipines. Friends may call at
the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre
& Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph
on Sunday, October 15 from 5 – 8
p.m. Funeral service at New Apostolic Church, 245 Delhi St.
Guelph on Monday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m.
Cremation will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions to the New Apostolic Church Foreign Extension
