1947-2017
At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Saturday December
9, 2017 of Wayne C. Bernard of Toronto Road, Mayfield aged 70 years.
Born in Summerside June 21, 1947 son of the late Ralph and Jessie
(McKeeman) Bernard. He is survived by his sons John (Marla)
and Paul (Tracy) and their mother Doris Woods. Grandfather
of Bailea, Samantha, Sam, Nathan, Grace Beth and Anna.
Fondly remembered by special friend and caregiver Kathy Wedge and her
extended family Maggie (Jamie) Hierlihy. Brother of Joan
(Wendell) Thompson and Gerald (Dodie) Bernard. He also leaves behind
his two special companions Baby (cat) and JD
(dog).
Predeceased by his daughter Leiana Marie Bernard and his
brother Donald Bernard.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation
on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the
Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in Geddie
Memorial Cemetery Spring Brook. If so desired contributions
may be made to Mount Zion Lodge # 12 or the Geddie Memorial Cemetery
Fund.
Brethren of Mount Zion Lodge # 12 AF & AM will hold a
Masonic memorial service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 9
p.m.
The funeral will be available to watch live by clicking Video
of Service on the day of the service.
