With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dearest husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Waldemar Belter, at the age of 87.
He leaves behind to mourn, his wife of 65 yrs., Sara, his sons Paul (Beverly), Ronald (Jody), Allen (Karen), his daughter Adelheit Werner, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters Natalie Wulf of Germany, Olga (Otto) Weiss of Ontario, Rosie (Ewald) Karl of Ontario, brothers Roman (Ursula) Belter of Edmonton, Bruno (Goshia) Belter of Germany, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Waldemar was predeceased by his son Gary Belter, parents Roman and Amanda Belter, brother Karl Belter and sisters Hulda Jachmann and Linda Dahlmann.
A Celebration of Waldemar’s Life will be held on Saturday October 7th, 2017 at 1:00 pm, with a public visitation 1 hour prior to the service, at Grace Point Church of God, 720 62 Street SW, Edmonton. Following the service the family invites you to lay him to rest at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital or a charity of one’s choice, in Waldemar’s name.
