The death of Vivian Paisley of Woodmans Point, cherished wife
of James Paisley occurred unexpectedly on Friday, February 17, 2017 at
the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 2, 1943 in
Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Ethel
McDade.
Vivian devoted her life to caring for the needs of her family
and will always be remembered for her kind and gentle ways.
She loved cardinals, knitting, NASCAR and watching figure
skating. Vivian also enjoyed hockey and was a loyal Montreal
Canadiens fan. She will be sadly missed.
In addition to husband of 55 years, James, Vivian
“Mugs” is also survived by her daughter, Amanda of Woodmans
Point; brothers, Harry of BC and Gerry (Patsy) of Hampton; as well as
several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was
also predeceased by her sister, Charlotte Anne Mortimer and brother,
Fred.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Brenan’s Bay View Funeral
Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint
John (634-7425), with visiting on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from
12:00 – 2:00 PM, which will be immediately followed by the funeral
service at 2:00 PM, all from Brenan’s Bay View
Chapel. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial
Gardens at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to The Joshua
Group.
