Forever In Our Hearts
It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Violet (Louise) Wooff, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, in Regina. Louise was born, raised and attended school in Melville, SK.
Louise was predeceased by parents Katherine Kuehlbach and Fredrick Poljer; siblings George (Gweneth) Poljer, James (Phyllis) Poljer and Ruth (Thomas) McEwen; and brother-in-law Lloyd Redenbach.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Roger; children Darwin “Kim” Wooff, Michael Wooff and his children Sebastian and Tomascz, Trevor (Barb) Wooff and their children Thomas and Rachel, and Leah (Michael) Lakustiak and their children Mason and Molly; sister Marjorie Redenbach and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, Louise was active before retirement in a number of organizations: City of Regina North Zone Board, Regina Garden Associates, Girl Guides, Engineers’ Wives and Saskatchewan Genealogical Society.
Louise loved gardening and each year she prepared many baskets and beds of flowers. Hosting family gatherings, traveling to other countries and continents, reading, collecting stamps and coins were favorite activities.
Grandchildren were always special to Louise and she was extremely proud of all their accomplishments.
