Viola Littlejohn – 2016

LITTLEJOHN, Viola Alice (nee Pike) – Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, Viola Littlejohn of St. John’s, formerly of St. Lawrence, in her 76th year. Predeceased by her husband Val Littlejohn (2008); parents: Giles and Dinah Pike; brothers: John B. and Edgar. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Tony, Valerie (Tom), Gail, Bill (Lori) and Giles (Kelly); her grandchildren: Samantha (Stephen), Stefanie (Greg), Cody, Brady, Claire and Reid; sisters-in-law: Helen and Shirley; brothers-in-law: Max and George; as well as a large circle of extended family. Sincere thanks to Drs. Amanda Scott, Jamie Farrell and Melanie Seal and also to PCU nurses: Lucille and Derek for their outstanding care. Visitation will take place from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, December 15, from 7-9pm and on Friday, December 16, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 16, 2016, at 3:30pm. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
