Death Notice
MARTIN, Victor Douglas – Died at home on Saturday, February 11, 2017, surrounded by the love of his family, in his 85th year. Survived by his devoted wife of 60 years Alice (Crawford). Remembered with love by his children Dr. Vicky Martin of London, Dr. Lee Ann Martin-Wiens (Ed) of Surrey, BC and Eric Martin of Woodstock. Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Clara Wiens. The family is grateful for support during a difficult time to CCAC Visiting team, Dr. Copeland and Phil Daniels, Nurse Practitioner, St. Elizabeth nurses Megan and Kim, Dr. Latosinsky, Dr. Cao and Dr. Ernst at the Cancer Clinic. Visitation on Thursday, February 16 from 2-4 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 17 at 12 noon. Visitation on Friday from 11 am – 12 noon prior to the funeral service. Reception to follow. Private family interment. To remember Vic the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Bible Society.
