Victor H. Armes
Victor H. Armes, 94, of the Jordan Lifecare Centre, The
Glades, and formerly of Fawcett Hill, passed away peacefully at his
residence on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
Born in Birmingham, England, he was the son of the late Harry
and Emily (Wright) Armes. Victor was a retired Regional Manager of
Technical Services at DOT. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, woodworking,
gardening and spending time with his family.
Victor will be sadly missed by his second wife, Dianna
(Haevens) Armes; daughters, Vicky Griffiths (Steven) and Sharon
Mitchell (Roy); son, Michael; stepdaughter, Bonnie Buchanan (Jeff);
stepson, Sheldon Ridgway (Artress); grandsons, David Griffiths,
Michael and Shawn Armes and granddaughter, Jennifer
Mitchell; step grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Dianna, Todd, Derek and
Christine; father-in-law, Adam Steeves; several nieces, nephews and
extended family members. Victor was the last surviving member of his
immediate family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first
wife, Alberta Armes (1997); son, Frederick and sisters, Doreen,
Dorothy, Vera and Irene.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm,
followed immediately by a Service to celebrate and honour
Victor’s life at 3:00 pm in Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel
with Pastor Don Lancaster officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home
Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held in Fair
Haven Memorial Gardens.
In memory of Victor, donations to the Jordan Lifecare Centre
or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by
