Obituary of Vicki Moore
Vicki Ann (Millett) Moore, 61 of Kentville passed away October 31, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital, after her long fight with cancer.
Vicki was born February 13, 1956 in Wolfville. Her father Basil Millett and mother Dewy (Murray) Millett raised four boys; Vaughn, Tony, Troy and Murray and four girls; Vicki, Ann, Crystal and Susan in Gaspereau.
While attending Horton High school Vicki started working part time at the Old Orchard Inn for Don Wallace. After graduating, she worked at Acadia Dairy in Wolfville, soon after she met her husband Bryan Moore. From there she worked at Basil’s Plumbing & Heating doing accounting. After having two daughters; Kara and Jenifer she became a stay at home mom.
In her younger days she loved to travel. Her and Bryan took trips to Florida, Bermuda, Antiqua, and visited friends in Alberta and British Columbia.
Vicki was a loving wife, the best mother a girl could have, grandmother, sister and friend. She spent the last few years dedicated to her family and pets. She loved her granddaughter Ava very much, and would get the biggest smile when she came to visit.
“You will always be loved and cherished, thought of often and never forgotten. R.I.P.”
A visitation will take place on November 4, 2017 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on November 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm, both in the Wolfville Funeral Chapel.
