Peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Ajax Pickering on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Oldrich “Joe” Veverka for 53 years. Loving mother of Ollie (Jeanne) of Pickering and predeceased by George. Cherished Nana of James, Andrew and their families. Bessie will be missed by her close dear friends Christine Rauch, Dennis Kirby and Jane Lawrence. Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Tuesday, April 18 from 11:00 a.m., until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m. Burial at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa.Donations made in memory of Bessie to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by her family.
