COUSINS, Verona Florence – Peacefully at University Hospital on Friday, December 16, 2016, Verona Florence Cousins of London and formerly of Montreal in her 97th year. Dear sister of the late Arthur Cousins and his wife Bella. Survived by her cousins Edith Huhta of Peterborough and A.J. and Bernice Blakeman of Calgary. Predeceased by her cousins Hazel Simmons and Charles Hunter. She had many friends in London and Montreal and will be fondly remembered by Margaret Gardiner and her son John. Verona worked 36 years for MacDonald Tobacco of Montreal. Visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 22 at 2 pm by The Rev. Canon Dr. Timothy G. Connor. Prior to the service on Thursday, visitation will continue from 1-2 pm. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Cremation with interment in the Spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. George’s Anglican Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
