Vernon Henry Butch McIsaac – 2017

McISAAC, Vernon Henry “Butch”
Age 76, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the QEII, due to complications from heart surgery. Born April 5, 1941 in Windsor, he was a son of the late Corporal John Phillip and Ella (MacPhee) McIsaac.
Other than spending time with his children and grandchildren, Butch also spent his time enjoying the outdoors and participating in activities such as hunting and camping. His laughter, and happiness was infectious to all those who loved and knew him. Butch was a father, friend and brother to many, always helpful and encouraging to all who knew him. Butch enjoyed life, and he will forever remain in the hearts and lives of those around him.
Butch is survived by his wife of 56 years, Irene Margaret (Peach); four children, Marlene (Derrick) Robinson, John “Jack” (Jan), Brad (Pauline-Brenda), Tania (Mark) Riley; brother, Jim (Pauline). He will be deeply missed by his nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, John “Jack”, Robert “Bob”, and David.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). The family will receive visitors from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, in the funeral home’s Elmcroft Reception Centre. Everyone is welcome to come and share refreshments and stories with the family in celebration of Butch’s life.
