Obituary for Verne Overacker
On October 9, 2017, Verne Overacker of Edmonton, formerly of Athabasca, passed away at the age of 75 years.
Clifford is survived by his loving wife, Mary; two sons, Wade (Angela) and Todd (Tiffany); one daughter, Kim; six grandchildren, Ethan, Jordan, Alexis, Alanna, Anna-Lynn and Jane; two great-grandchildren, Kaedan and Milo; mother, Dorothy; three brothers, Leroy (Jan), Wayne (Maxine) and Joe; one sister, Lorraine (Edward); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father, Clifford; and brother, Wilfred.
Memorial Service to be announced with inurnment in Athabasca at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Suite 104, 12220 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, AB T5N 3Y4.
