Verna died at the age of 97, July 11, 2017 at the Wenleigh Long Term Care Facility in Mississauga. Beloved wife of the late Jack Nevins and the late Hubert Harper. Predeceased by her siblings Doris, Marion, Marshal and Merton and daughter in law Heather. Sadly missed by her sons John (Lesley) and Michael and stepson Robert (Sandra). Proud grandmother and great grandmother to many, never missing an opportunity to exercise bragging rights. Fondly remembered by Maxine a cherished long time friend. Special thanks go out to the palliative team at the Wenleigh for their compassionate and supportive care given to Vern and her family during her final weeks.
At Verna’s request no visitation or service will be held.
