1925-2017
Vera B. Dickinson of Fredericton and Lower Hainesville, NB passed away
April 10, 2017 at York Care Centre. Vera was born at Lower
Hainesville, NB in 1925, a daughter of the late Arleigh and Suzy
(Webb) White. She was a Registered Nursing Assistant and was employed
at both the Victoria Public Hospital and the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital and lovingly referred to as Dickie by her co-workers. Vera
was a member of the Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her brother, Arthur White (Phyllis), Brampton,
Ontario; a sister-in-law, Elaine Malo, Waltham, MA; numerous nieces
and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Vera was predeceased by her husband, Harry
E. Dickinson, three sisters, Evelyn Larlee, Eula Moore-West and
Madeline White, two brothers, Otis Edwin and Arnold White.
Visiting hours will be held at the Lower Hainesville Wesleyan Church,
468 Central Hainesville Road, Lower Hainesville, NB on Friday, April
14, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at
the church on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Scott Lewis
officiating. Interment will be later at Lower Hainesville
Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Vera, the Lower
Hainesville Wesleyan Church or the Lower Hainesville Cemetery have
been suggested.
The family wishes to thank the staff of York Care Centre ‘Tower
Two’ for the excellent care extended to Vera while a resident
there for the past three years.
