Venessa Murphy
1975-2017
AMHERST,
NS – Venessa Murphy, 41, of Miramichi passed away
peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness which
she fought hard against until the very end, on July
9th, 2017 at the Cumberland Regional Health
Care Centre, Amherst, NS. Born in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, she was the
daughter of Venerance (Comeau) Murphy of St-Charles and step-daughter
of the late Kenny Murphy.
Besides
her mother Venerance, Venessa leaves to mourn her common-law spouse,
James Martin of Miramichi; her son, James Andrew Martin; her
parents-in-law, Brian and Mary Martin of Amherst, NS; as well as many
aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Besides
her step-father, Venessa is predeceased by her grandparents, Richard
A. and Marie (Hebert) Comeau.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s
Funeral Home, 33 Acadia Street, Richibucto, on Wednesday evening from
7:00 to 9:00 pm and Thursday from 9:30 am until time of the funeral. A
funeral service will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
Chapel, Richibucto on Thursday, July 13th, 2017
at 11:00 am. Donations in Venessa’s memory may be
made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
