Almey, Velma May- Peacefully on Saturday February 4th, 2017 at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga. Velma, in her 84th year, beloved wife of John Almey for 62 years. Loving mother of Pam and her husband Ian Lowden and Dan and his wife Kelly. Loved grandmother of Kurt, Mathew and John. Dear sister of Barry Burley. Predeceased by her brother Allan Burley and by her sister Lorraine Yeiman. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday February 10th, from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service held in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens, Peterborough. In memory contributions to Osteoporosis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
