Trudy (Fraser) Colpitts – 2017

Mrs. Trudy Colpitts of Regina, formerly of Oxbow, passed away at the Wascana Grace Hospice, Regina on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the age of 91.
Gertrude (Trudy) Irene Fraser was born on August 6, 1925 in Nashwaak Bridge, New Brunswick to Clair Arthur Fraser & Laura Irene (Gilmore) Fraser. Trudy is survived by her two daughters: Pat Colpitts of Regina and Charlotte Colpitts Forish (Richard) of Pender Island, BC; two granddaughters: Julie Peebles of Regina and Amber Peebles-Fuller (Ryan) of Regina; four great-grandsons: Nathan Fuller, Tino Fernandez, Sebastian Fuller and Damian Fuller all of Regina; five siblings: Jean Spilman of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, Beth Renaldo of Buffalo, NY, Jack Fraser (Irene) of Campbellton, NB, Vivian Roussell (Camile) of Fredricton, NB and June Douglass (Stuart) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB; two sisters-in-law: Audrey Fraser of Nashwaak Bridge, NB and Shirley Gould of Calgary, AB; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins across Canada.
Trudy was predeceased by her husband Jack Colpitts; son Ron Colpitts; parents Clair & Irene Fraser; four siblings: Ted Fraser (Neta), Fred Fraser, Peter Fraser and Pearl Armstrong (Vilmar); daughter-in-law Liz Willick; in-laws Bill and Eva Colpitts; four brothers-in-law: Byron Spilman, Derry Gould, Bill Colpitts (Wanda) and Byron Spilman; two sisters-in-law: Betty Spearing (Buddy) and Elsie Gotham (Russ).
A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Oxbow, SK. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathy Kyle officiating. The interment at the Oxbow Cemetery will take place at a later date.
