It is with great sadness that we announce, after a courageous battle with cancer, the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister on December 28, 2017 at 52 years of age. Loving wife and best friend of Joe for 25 years. Proud and cherished mother of Angelo-Jakob and Jordan. Beloved daughter of Edward and Theresa Mielke and the late Jakob Kern (1969). Dear sister of Gary Kern and wife Michelle and Linda Cautius and husband Werner. Predeceased by in laws Angelo and Paola Ammoscato. Sister in law of Tina Novena and late husband Gasper, Maria Lipari and husband Vito, Vince Ammoscato and wife Cheryl, Ezio Ammoscato and wife Jennifer, Danny Ammoscato and wife Melissa. Trudy will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Schneider, the VON nurses as well as all other caregivers.
