Fehr, Tina Marie-53, of Maitland, Lunenburg Co. formerly of Upper Ohio, Shelburne County, passed peacefully in her home on November 25, 2017, with her family by her side, after her battle with cancer. Born March 30, 1964, Tina was the daughter of Harold and Joan Slauenwhite. Upon graduating high school, Tina attended Miss Murphy’s Business College in Halifax where she received a diploma in the Medical Secretary program. After graduating from Miss Murphy’s, Tina settled in Upper Ohio where she and her husband, Blaine, owned and operated their business “Blaine Fehr Logging”. Tina enjoyed gardening, fishing, family, and her granddaughter Peyton, her pride and joy. Her love for gardening was very obvious. Tina always had the most beautiful and immaculate gardens that were always in tip-top shape. Tina was very much involved with family and made sure they came first , making sure their needs came before her own. After moving back to Bridgewater in 2016, Tina built a new home on the lake which she often referred to as her “paradise”. She enjoyed looking out the window at the smooth glass reflection while watching ducks swim by and fish jumping in the lake. Tina is survived by her parents, Harold and Joan Slauenwhite, Maitland; partner, Bayne Sperry, West Dublin; son, Lucas (Ashley), Upper Ohio; daughter, Sarah ( Peter), Bridgewater; brother, Jeffrey (Susan) Slauenwhite, Maitland; granddaughter, Peyton, Upper Ohio; nephews, Nicholas (Holly) Slauenwhite, Pine Grove; Joshua Slauenwhite, Maitland; Trevor and Jamie Fehr, Ohio; niece, Ava Fehr, Hebbville; and great nephew, Landon Slauenwhite, Pine Grove. Tina was predeceased by her husband, Blaine . Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium Ltd. Visitation to take place on Tuesday, November 28th from 7-9 p.m. at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne, where a celebration of Tina’s life will take place on Wednesday, November 29th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ed Trevors officiating. Burial to take place in the Middle & Upper Ohio Union Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Middle and Upper Ohio Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
