Thomas Tom Dale Brown 6 mars 2017

BROWN, Thomas “Tom” Dale
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Dale Brown of Lower Sackville at the age of 77. Tom was a son of the late James and Vernice Brown, he grew up in Alberta and eventually found his way to Nova Scotia with the Royal Canadian Navy. After the Navy, he joined the Canadian Coast Guard where he stayed until his retirement. He was proud of his Scottish heritage and was a past president of the Clan Lamont. One of the greatest times he had was visiting Scotland with his son David. Tom will be deeply missed by the love of his life, his beloved wife Barbara, loving children Tom, David (Erin Kenny), Alan (Glenda) and Donna (Rory Walters); cherished grandchildren Megan, Kirsten, Cameron, Rebecca, Logan and Brayden; nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his dear siblings, James, Evelyn Germain, Annamay, and Betty. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of the QEII VG Site, 6th floor for their care and compassion. At Tom’s request, a private service will be held at a later date. For those wishing, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Online condolences may be sent to www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com Sackville Chapel.
