Obituary of Thomas Stewart
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017. Thomas Howard Stewart, of Owen Sound, at the age of 96 years. Dearly loved husband of Irma (nee Crago) for 68 years. Loving father of Anne Stewart and her partner, Eric Sargent, of Wiarton and Valerie Legge, of Southampton. Proud grandfather of Tim (Amanda), Steven (Camille), Wade (Shari), Thomas, Jennifer and great-grandfather of Dylan, Mikayla, McKay, Bryn, Max & Alex. Dear brother of Marion Ferguson, of Parry Sound. Predeceased by his parents, Robert & Alda Stewart; his son-in-law, Rodney Legge; his brothers, Willard Stewart (Zeta), Russell Stewart (Ruth); his sister, Bertha Jory (Russell); his brother-in-law, Clarence Ferguson.
A Memorial Service for Tom Stewart will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Nicholas Forrester officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice as an expression of sympathy.
