BRIGGS, Thomas – Mr. Thomas Briggs at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday April 11, 2017 at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Lilian (née Biscoe) Briggs. Loved father of Thomas Briggs (Audrey), Ruth Covill (Uriah), and Bonnie Birdwell (Douglas). Sadly missed by 7 grandchildren Darlene, Pamela, Tania, Bonnie, Stephen, Darcy, Kevin; and 9 great grandchildren; and predeceased by one great grandchild. Loving son of the late James and May (née Foster) Briggs. Dear brother of Dulcie Scott. Predeceased by one brother Daniel, and his sister Gladys Dripps. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Saturday from 9-10:45 AM. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday April 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Brentt Williams of Faith Apostolic United Pentecostal Church officiating. Interment at a a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall. If so desired, contributions in his memory to Faith Apostolic Church United Pentecostal Church would be appreciated by the family.
