Thérèse Tremblay

It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Thérèse Tremblay (née Lavallée) on July 7th, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Loving wife of Arthur Tremblay (predeceased 2008). Cherished mother of Linda (Russ), Nicole (Bill), Suzette (Paul), Gilles (Wilma) and Guy (Rachelle). Adored grandmother to Anthony, Scott, Christy-Ann, Chad, Brent, Timmy, Cory, Malinda, Tamara, Rosie and Amanda. Special great-grandmother to Ryan, Dylan, Carson, Abigail and Gavyn.
Dear daughter of Donoza and Aurise Lavallée (predeceased) and sister to her many siblings that are all predeceased.
Mom was not only a special mother but also a great role model to her family embedding deep family values, the importance of education as well as strength of character and independence. We will always cherish the special moments we shared especially at Christmas time with the magical family get togethers.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the St. Joseph’s Villa staff and doctors, especially Karen, Kerri, Chrystale, Nicole, LJ, Lucy, Donna, Jennifer, Wayne and Dr. Sivers. You all made her feel like she was at home and in the best of hands for which we are forever grateful.
There will be no viewing and cremation was conducted. A memorial mass will be held at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, July 14th, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. In her memory, donations to the Diabetes Canada or a charity of your choice is greatly appreciated.
