Thérèse Collette, 90, of Saint-Antoine and formerly of
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully, at her residence, on
Saturday October 28, 2017. She was married to the late Alyre Collette
(2002). Born in Saint-Norbert, she was the daughter of the late
Jean-Baptiste and the late Mélina (LeBlanc) Boucher.
She will be sadly missed by ten children; Stella Richard (Jos) of
Richiboucto-Village, Anita LeBlanc (Terry) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent,
Rose-Mai Collette, Lise Bourque of Bouctouche, Jacqueline Collette of
Dieppe, Christine Whitman (Charles) of Scoudouc, Normand (Nicole) of
Saint-Norbert, Alonzo, Gilles (Denise) and Jean-Guy of
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, nineteen grandchildren, twenty four great
grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She also leaves to
mourn one sister Lorraine Daigle of Joliette, QC, as well as several
nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one sister Rosaline and six brothers; Omer,
Elie, Cléophas, Oram Gerald and Alcide.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Wednesday
November 1, 2017 from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to
6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent
Church on Thursday November 2, 2017 at 7:00 pm with interment in the
parish cemetery.
In Thérèse’s memory donations may be made to the
Childrens Wish Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
