Obituary for Thelma Shirley Young (nee Goldstone)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thelma Shirley Young on January 14, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Thelma was born November 25, 1925 in Brandon Manitoba. She married her childhood sweetheart Billie Young on July 16, 1952 and they had two children Greg and Brent. The family moved to Calgary in 1966 where Thelma lived the rest of her life Thelma enjoyed 57 years of marriage before Billie passed away on March 31, 2010. Thelma is survived by her sons Greg and Brent (Susan) and her younger sister Kay Wolfe. We wish to thank the staff at Southwood Nursing Home for taking such good care of Mom. At Thelma’s request, no service will be held.
