Terri Carr – 2017

Carr, Terri L. – age 61 Halifax – Speaking quietly and softly January 31, 2017 I tell you of my passing. Please do not cry for me as I gather comfort in the knowledge that I will be united with my mother, Flora Carr and my father, John Carr as well as my two brothers, Harold and Frank.
My biggest regret is that I must say good-bye to my beautiful daughter, Krista and her husband, Dan, as well as the most precious joys of my life, my granddaughters, Carly and Teagan. I love you all so very much.
I must also say good-bye to my sister Iris (Ken) Peet; brothers, Robert (Joanne), John, Ross (Marie); half-brother, Vernon (Denise); several nieces and nephews and my extended family, Kim (Scott) D’eon, Kerry (Ray) Tench and their children Bradley and Marcus.
To my cherished friend for over 25 years, Aubrey Garnier, I want to say thank you for everything we shared. To my devoted friend for over 45 years, Jim Matheson, you showed me the true meaning of lifelong friendship. Also heartfelt thank you to the special people in my life for your many visits, emotional support, sensitive care and most of all compassion. My journey has been made easier because of you.
I had the opportunity that most people are not afforded. I was able to prepare myself, my family, and my friends for the fate that was to come. I was able to reunite with old friends and arrange my leaving in a way that suited me.
I enjoyed a very fulfilling 28 career with Scotiabank. Without this I would not have met Jack Keith and so many other wonderful and caring friends too numerous to name.
A special thank you to Dr. Couban, Paula and all the staff at the V.G. Haematology Department.
Cremation has taken place. By request, there will not be a service.
In lieu of flowers please perform a special act of kindness.
