Tegwin “Joyce” Elizabeth Neilson
1925-2017
NEILSON, Tegwin “Joyce” Elizabeth- 92 of Lansdown,
NB., passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 from the Lansdowne Special
Care Home. Born in Wales she was the daughter of the late Frederick
and Hannah (Folkner) Muxworthy.
Joyce is survived by her 13 children; daughters: Frances
Wilson (late Joseph) of Petitcodiac, NB., Nancy Yerxa (Frank) of
Hartland, NB., Anne Thompson (Leslie), Fredericton, NB., Karen
Finnemore (James) of Woodstock, NB., Barbara Lindsay (Michael) of
Fielding, NB., Alma Neilson, of Petitcodiac, Heather
Garbowski (Marek) of Ottawa, sons: Trevor (Kathy) of Woodstock, NB.,
Arthur (Charlene) Beaverdam, New Maryland, NB., Charles (Kathie) of
Mt. Pleasant, NB, LeRoy (Karan) of Calgary, AB,
Kenneth (Roxanne) of Mt Pleasant, NB., Sterling (Teri) of Spruce
Grove, AB., 30 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren, several
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her husband
Arthur; sisters, Sylvia Cullins, Kathleen Downey, Mary Muxworthy;
brothers, Sidney, Bill, George, Arthur and Trevor Muxworthy, grand
children Jason Neilson, David Neilson, Reg Yerxa and Daniel
Neilson
Visitation will be held from the Carleton Funeral Home, 337
Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, NB on Friday, August 25 from 3-5 pm
and 7-9 pm with funeral service on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00
pm from the Burnham Road Cathedral, Florenceville, NB with Pastor Paul
Smith officiating. Interment in the Mount Pleasant
Cemetery.
Donations in Joyce’s memory can be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation.
