A beloved husband, father, family and friend Tadeusz (Ted) Stroz 79 years of age died peacefully in his home on December 13th, 2017 after a courageous and hope-filled battle with cancer. Ted was born in Sudbury on April 17th 1938, and is the eldest son of and predeceased by Adam and Genowefa (Jean) Stroz. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Kathleen, sister Irene Marsh, daughters Heather (Bryan Luren) and Laurel Stroz (Ken Beebakhee), and grandchildren, Madelyn and Brayden Luren and Samsara Stroz Beebakhee. Ted was a certified Chartered Accountant and ran a private business from 1975. As a devoted and brilliant mathematician he was also a passionate Bridge player, squash enthusiast and gardener. Ted was also a huge fan of music, musical theatre and theatre. Ted enjoyed many adventures with his wife Kathleen having travelled extensively in their retirement years. Ted will be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched, for his strong sense of humor, family values, and his warm chattiness. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600), Oakville from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Cancer Centre or Credit Valley Cancer Centre would be welcomed by the family.
