Suzanne “Suzie” Annette Lowthers
1974-2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzie
Lowthers of Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Dr.
Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was born in Windsor, NS to
Sandra (Sanford) Galley and the late Reid Lowthers.
Suzie was a well-loved, hardworking, energetic woman who
would make friends feel like family instantly. Friends and
family, including her many dogs, were always at the top of her
priority list. She was always willing to listen, give advice
and help those in need. She loved to travel wherever and
whenever possible and would inspire others with her marathon
running.
She made an impact on everyone’s life she touched
and will be deeply missed by her parents, Sandra and James Galley of
Windsor, NS; maternal grandmother, Georgie Sanford of Windsor, NS;
siblings, Peter Lowthers of Calgary, AB, Jadey Galley (Helen) of Three
Mile Plains, NS and Jeannette Galley (Daniel Pomerleau) of Three Mile
Plains, NS; aunts, Donna Russell (George), Jean Lowthers and Laura
Mumford (Reg); niece, Renée Pomerleau; nephew, Felix
Pomerleau; her furry baby, Angus as well as numerous extended family
and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Reid Lowthers; maternal
grandfather, Garth Sanford; paternal grandfather and grandmother,
Samuel and Verna Lowthers and her uncle, Gordon
Lowthers.
There will be no visitation or formal service. A
reception will be held at Grimross Brewing Corp. on Saturday, Ocotber
21, 2017 from 3:00-6:30 pm. Interment will take place at a later date
in the St. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix, NS. In lieu of
flowers, memorial tributes in Suzie’s honour may be made to
the Canadian Cancer Society, the Arthritis Society or to the
SPCA.
