Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Susanne Anderson announces that she passed away June 5, 2017 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Suzanne was born to Frank and Marie Brilliant on her parent’s farm at Legal Alberta in 1932. Her love of nature and the countryside started in her early years and she remained a country girl at heart in spite of living in a city for 47 years. She graduated from Legal High School in 1950 and went on to study nursing at the Edmonton General Hospital School of Nursing. She graduated in 1953. Nursing was a career that brought her great satisfaction and she continued nursing until her retirement from the Colonel Belcher Hospital in Calgary Alberta in 1990. This is a testament to her caring, compassionate nature.
She married the love of her life, Lorne Anderson in 1963. Theirs was a happy blissful marriage and their happiness and warm hospitality overflowed to extended family and friends. They were always willing to help and care for others. Lorne and Sue d many interests and values- golf, travel, bridge, volunteering, their Catholic faith, caring for family and socializing with friends. Lorne passed away in 2009.
Suzanne is survived by her brother Wilfred of Edmonton, and several loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lorne; her parents, Frank and Marie Brilliant; her brother, John Brilliant and her sisters-in-law, Pearl Brilliant and Patricia Edwards and numerous other relatives.
