Fehr, Susie Ann
1935 – 2017
Susie Ann (Harder) Fehr passed away on March 7, 2017 in High River, AB at the age of 81.
Susie was born at home, near Hague, SK to Jacob and Maria (Ginther) Harder on August 15, 1935. Susie was the second oldest of 14 children.
She married Henry H. Fehr from Hepburn, SK on June 21, 1953. They lived in Saskatchewan but moved to Alberta in 1972 due to more availability of work for Henry. She was a homemaker, worked at a sewing factory,… was a head cook at a church camp and had a catering business at different times in her life. She loved gardening, especially her rose garden and enjoyed watching the various birds come to feeders.
Susie was a devout Christian and loved the Lord with her whole heart. She volunteered in various areas of the church wherever they lived. She had the gift of making each and every family member feel special and loved them all unconditionally.
Susie Ann Fehr is predeceased by their 2 infant daughters Kathleen and Lorita, her brother John Harder, her sister Nettie Giesbrecht and her parents Jacob and Maria Harder.
She is survived by her husband Henry H. Fehr, her 8 children and their spouses:
Abram (Verna) Fehr, Henry (Brenda) Fehr, Daniel (Janette) Fehr, Richard (Teresa) Fehr, Raymond (Tina) Fehr, Julie Ann LePretre (Raoul Goudreau), James (Colleen) Fehr, Steven (Linda) Fehr, 27 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, her 11 siblings and spouses and also many nieces and nephews.
The family of Susie Ann Fehr wish to extend our sincere thanks to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary and the High River Hospital, where the doctors, nurses and staff did so much to make her comfortable during her stay.
The Celebration of Life for Susie Ann Fehr will be as follows:

INTERMENT: March 15, 2017, 11:00 AM at the Highwood Cemetery in High River AB

MEMORIAL SERVICE: March 15, 2017, 1:00 PM at the High River Baptist Church in High River AB 514160 121 Street E, High River, AB T1V 1M6.
