Peacefully passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Barnswallow Place in Elmira, at the age of 91 years. Susanne was the wife of the late David Bowman (1993). Mother of Evelyn (Paul) Hoffman of Heidelberg, Cliff (Wendy) Bowman of Elora, Margaret (Don) Weber of Hawkesville, Les Bowman of Florida, and Barb (Ian) Ross of Kanata. Survived by twin sisters Dorothy Rudy and Doris Metzger, brother-in-law Lester Bechtel, 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents David and Veronica Bast, daughter Patricia, and siblings John, Alvin, Mahlon, and Alma Bechtel. There will be a private burial beside her husband at Hawkesville Cemetery. A public memorial service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Wallenstein Bible Chapel followed by refreshments. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Conestoga Bible Camp would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
