Obituary Overview
Susan Scott
Susan Scott, the love of my life, died beside me in her sleep early Monday morning, on November 20.
She loved Goderich, our home and her friends in the Glees, her book club, her Women’s Group, and SwimFit who embraced her sometimes outlandish behavior with open arms and loving hearts. She was a retired nurse who gave her all to her clients, who often came to Susan to remind her how much they felt loved. Her grandchildren Owen, Molly and Katherine brought her much joy as did her sons Ian, Andrew, and Peter. Katherine’s son Henry was our first great grandson.
Susan saw life both as a challenge and a joy. She stayed in touch with her childhood friends and her home town of Hudson, Quebec, travelling far and wide throughout the world, hiking in the Andes, and taking several voyages through the Mediterranean and the South Pacific.
A Celebration of Susan’s life will be held at McKay Centre, Goderich, on Wednesday November 29, 2017 between 1 and 3 PM. Please come and share your stories.
Cremation has taken place.
