Obituary for Susan Poolman
Surrounded by her family at C.E.E. Hospital, Petrolia on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Susanna “Susan” Poolman (nee DeBoer), 88 years, of Wyoming. She was predeceased by her husband Hilco (2014). Loving mother of Hendrik (Christie) Poolman, Dirk Poolman, and Susan (Dale) Wallator. Cherished Oma of 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She is survived by one sister Hillie Bakker. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Catherine Poolman (2014), her granddaughter Laura Poolman (1993), her sisters Wilhelmina Meerding, Dirkje Van Kleef, Tryntje Poolman, and her brothers Hendrik, Dirk, Jan, and Roelof DeBoer. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm from the Wyoming Chapel of Needham-Jay Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church, 4524 Confederation Line. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation (www.ceehf.ca) or John Knox Christian School (www.wyomingjkcs.com).
