1951-2017
Peacefully, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, on
September 20, 2017 with his family at his side of Stephen George
McCabe, 66 years. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Lynn (MacCannell)
and his adoring daughters, Sarah (Cody McKenzie) and Michelle.
Much loved brother of Patricia (Peter MacIntyre), Roy
(Linda), David “Red”, Nora, Linda (David Abbott) and Donald
MacCannell. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Lindsay (Darren
Bromley); Carron (Omar Hashem), Collen McCabe; Daniel, Emily (Meghan
Hennessey) & Hillary Abbott; and Ellen & Laura
MacCannell. The Grandest Uncle to Caroline & James Bromley,
Freya & Mathew Hashem and Jude Abbott.
Predeceased by his parents Roy and Mary; sisters Ann &
Mary; and father & mother-in-law Neil & Mildred
MacCannell.
Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe
Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then to St.
Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will
follow in Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 5:00 to
8:00 p.m.. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Canadian
Mental Health or the Home Care Palliative Care Program Queens County.
