Stella May Jordan – 2016

Stella Mae Jordan, 83 of Windermere passed away December 29, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Hollis and Lillian (Knockwood) Dunham.
Stella had been a resident of Hall Road in Windermere for the past 70 years. She had been active mowing a large lawn with a ride-on mower until she was 81. In past years, she and Dad always had a vegetable garden and a variety of animals. Stella enjoyed going for drives, word search puzzles, made countless quilts and knitted socks and she loved K.F.C.
She is survived by her daughter Cathern (Eric) Fraser; son Murray (Karen) Jordan; grandsons Greg (Nancy) Fraser and Jeff (Courtney Anderson) Fraser; great grandchildren Alexandra Fraser; Jonah Fraser; Rylan Fraser; sister Helen, Wolfville Nursing Home; brothers Murray Dunham of Windermere and Everett Dunham, Evergreen Home; sisters in law Sally Dunham; Velma Bent of Greenwich.
Stella was predeceased by her husband Walter Jordan; brother Ronald Dunham; many brothers in law and sisters in law.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, Berwick Chapel, 192 Commercial Street Berwick (902-538-9900). A visitation will take place on January 4, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on January 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Berwick Chapel. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
