Obituary for Stanley (Sierd) Triemstra
Triemstra, Stanley (Sierd)- Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday October 2, 2017on the eve of his 86th birthday. Beloved husband of Margaret (Eleanor) Triemstra (nee Hastie). Loving father of Charles (Julie), Wayne (Julie), Rick, James (David), and Elizabeth (Jon) Burns. Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Celia, Christopher, Patrick, Kelsey, Samantha, Keelin, and Cooper. Proud great grandfather of Emma, Madison, Jacob, Kayley, and Alexandra. Dear brother to Charles (Elsie) Triemstra, and Betty (Henry) Schut. Predeceased by both his parents, John and Barbara (nee Boorsma) Triemstra and his brother John Triemstra and his sisters Barbara Vanderheide and Tilly VanSchepen . Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Thursday October 5th, 2017 from 2 pm to 4 pm and again from 7 pm to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave, Woodstock, on Friday October 6th, 2017 at 11am. The family would like to send a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, for their love and care shown to Stanley during his stay with them.
