November 17, 1941 – March 28, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stan Hardaway announces his peaceful passing at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook with his wife Elaine by his side on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 75 years of age.
Stan will be sadly missed by his wife Elaine; his son Daniel (Jamie) and their 3 children; his son Christopher; his brother Doug (Sue) and their son Anton (Julie) and their 5 children; his brother-in-law Steve (Iris) and their 3 children; and his sister-in-law Sharon (Rick) and their 3 children. He was predeceased by his father Rea Hardaway; his mother Harriett Hardaway (nee Kirkland); his mother-in-law and father-in-law Evangeline (nee Berger) and Elmer Pilgrim; and his brothers-in-law Sidney and Glen Pilgrim.
A visitation for Stan will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. His funeral will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Kings Chapel United Pentecostal Church in Cranbrook, with a luncheon to follow.
