Obituary for Stacey Horinga
HORINGA, Stacey Elise. – Has gone to be with her Lord and surrounded by the love of her family and friends at the Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday November 14, 2017 in her 23rd year. Beloved daughter of Jake and Ann (nee Tilstra) Horinga. Dear sister to Julie (Jan) deWit, Brent (Corriene) Horinga and Jayden Horinga. Cherished granddaughter of Elsie Tilstra-Tiersma, Hank and Betty Horinga. Loved niece of Marg (George) Elgersma, Betty (Howard) Peterson, Ted (Karen) Tilstra, Sid (Evelyn) Tilstra, Bruce (Sarah) Tilstra, John (Corinne) Tilstra, Don (Jeanette) Tilstra, Coby (Harry) Knibbe, Jenny (George) Vanderveen, Martha (Luke) Sikkens, Geraldine (John) Bouwers, Sid (Jeanette) Horinga, Liz (Bruce) Zantingh, Henry (Sue) Horinga, John Horinga and Jeff (Marcia) Horinga. Stacey will always be remembered by her cousins, extended family and her many friends. Predeceased by her grandfathers; Glen Tilstra and Jatse Tiersma. Friends are invited to join the family at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Cres., Woodstock on Saturday November 18, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. No visitation on Sunday. A service to honour Stacey’s life will be held on Monday at 11:30 am at the church. A private family interment will have taken place at Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Brain Tumour Foundation or the Uturn Ranch (Christian Farm and Riding experiences) would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
