Spencer Karl Dunford
(1944-2017)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Spencer Karl Dunford who passed away on April 26, 2017 at the age of 72 years.
Spencer was born in Coleman, Alberta and as a young man, he ventured off to Jasper for work. He spent a memorable few years there before returning home to Coleman; though he would return to Jasper many times over the years as it held a special place in his heart.
Spencer loved country music and for many years he would take vacations going to different jamborees and music festivals. He also took great pride in volunteering with the local rodeo for several years. In later years, he became an avid fan of curling and would never miss the Scott Tournament of Hearts.
Spencer was predeceased by his beloved mother, Florence; father, Gordon; and his faithful canine companions: Sarah, Tippy and Tubby.
He is survived by his sister, Sharlet (Jonty); his daughter, Amber (Kevin); his grandson, Kailen; his godson, Kyle; and numerous extended family members and friends. Spencer will be missed by all those who knew him throughout his lifetime.

As per his wishes, there will be no funeral services honouring his life.
