Sonja Thomina Hiller – 2016

Sonja passed away suddenly on December 20, 2016 in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Sonja was born February 22, 1930 in Olds where she attended school and worked. On November 18, 1950, she married Johnie Hiller. Together she and Johnie farmed and ran a trucking business for many years. 3 children blessed this marriage, Michael Ian in 1954, Brenda Gail in 1970, and Tracy Lynn in 1972.
Sonja leaves to mourn her children, Brenda and her husband Daniel Fisher of Didsbury, Tracy and her husband Chris Fralic of Fort Saskatchewan; grandchildren Natasha and her partner Daniel of Olds, Kaitlin and her husband Riley of Grande Prairie, and Jonathon Fisher of Olds. She also leaves to mourn her great-granddaughter Addison Schulz. Sonja was predeceased by Johnie in 1992, Michael in 2013, 3 siblings, her parents Niels and Oline Pedersen, and her in laws Jonathon and Jackie Hiller. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, Olds. Interment to follow at the Olds Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to S.T.A.R.S. Air Ambulance. Heartland Funeral Services Ltd., Olds entrusted with arrangements. 403-507-8610 www.heartlandfuneralservices.com
