Soble, Carol S. (nee Burr)
On Monday, June 12 at Providence Manor, Kingston, where she has resided for the last five years, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Soble and parents the Rev. Lorne and May Burr. Survived by her children Elsie James (Dr. Gordon), Ottawa; the Rev. Dr. Wayne Soble (the Rev. Dr. Jean Stairs), Kingston; the Rev. Dale Soble (Susan), Peterborough; brother Rodney Burr (Ellen) and sister Pauline Dempsey, both of Prince Edward County; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family expresses their deep appreciation to the heath care team on Sydenham 4 at Providence Manor. A service acknowledging death and giving thanks for her life will be conducted by her nephew the Rev. Terry Dempsey at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273) on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. preceded by visitation from 1 p.m. and followed immediately by a reception at the Steele Family Centre after which internment will take place at Burr’s Cemetery, Prince Edward County. If desired, Memorial Donations may be made to Victoria Avenue Baptist Church, Belleville or University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF – Providence Manor), Kingston.
