It is with great sadness that the family of the late
SIDNEY THOMAS MILLER
of Glovertown, formerly of Grand Bank) announces his
passing at his home in Glovertown on Tuesday, December
19th, 2017, at the age of
81. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are wife, Amelia of 56 years; son, Glenn Miller
(Andrea) of South Carolina; daughters, Sherry Palmer (Neil) of
Waterloo, ON, Denise Purchase (Jeff) of Waterloo, ON, Kimberley Miller
(Rob) of Kingston, ON; sisters, Mildred, Alfreda,
Viola, Georgina, Florence & Bessie; brother, Simeon; 9
grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of extended
family and friends. He was predeceased by parents,
Abraham & Georgina Miller; brothers, John & Max;
sister, Lorraine; nephews, Wayne &
Jerry.
In keeping with his
wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or
service.
In Sidney’s memory
donations may be made to the Burin Peninsula SPCA.
No
flowers by request of the
family.
