Age 88, passed away in Tideview Terrace, Digby on April 25, 2017. Born in Dominion, Cape Breton on August 22, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Murdock and Martha (Caldwell) MacPherson. Shirley was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Grace United Church in Digby. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Claudia (Mike) Lutz, Digby; sons John and Donald Nicolson, Halifax. Grandchildren, Lyssa (Stephen) MacCartney, Dalmellington, Scotland; Craig Lutz (Christa) Lower Sackville, Sophie McConnell (Chris) Dartmouth. Great grandchildren Jack, Olivia and Oliver.
