Obituary for Shirley MacDonald (Leadbeater)
In Loving Memory
of
Shirley (nee Leadbeater) MacDonald
76 years
Monday, December 25th, 2017, to be with the angels in Heaven, she passed at the Espanola Nursing Home, with loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of Leo MacDonald predeceased 2011. Loving mother of Keith predeceased 2003, Darrell (Diane), Angela (Ray MacLaren), Kevin (Francine), and Jamie (Angie). Cherished Gram of Sarah (Jeff), David, Tiffany (Josh), Kyle, Drake, and Dorion and great grandchild Savannah. Dear daughter of Benjamin and Gladys (Langille) Leadbeater predeceased.
In younger years, Shirley enjoyed camping on Manitoulin Island, quadding, and playing cards. The focus of her life was her loving family, and she was happiest when in their company.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Espanola Nursing Home Therapeutic Park would be appreciated.
Special thank you to Dr. H. Abdel-Salam, and a heartfelt thanks to the Espanola Nursing Home’s amazing, caring staff, who took superb care of Mom.
At Shirley’s request, there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Maplecrest Cemetery, Dowling. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
